Remove the empty space from atoms and humanity fits in a sugar cube

Matter is overwhelmingly nothing, held apart by force.

An atom’s nucleus occupies a vanishingly small fraction of its volume – if the nucleus were a marble, the atom would be a stadium. Compress every human being to nuclear density and the entire species would occupy roughly the volume of a sugar cube. This is essentially what happens inside a neutron star.
