Your cornea has no blood supply at all
Blood vessels would be opaque. So the tissue does without.
The cornea is one of very few tissues in the body with no blood vessels, because vessels would scatter light and blur vision. It takes oxygen directly from the air and nutrients from tears and the fluid behind it. That avascularity is also why corneal transplants are so rarely rejected – the immune system has poor access.
