Cleopatra lived closer to the Moon landing than to the pyramids
The Great Pyramid was already ancient history to her.
The Great Pyramid of Giza was completed around 2560 BC. Cleopatra was born around 69 BC – roughly 2,500 years later. The Apollo 11 landing was in 1969, about 2,000 years after her. She was chronologically nearer to the first Moon landing than to the building of the monuments in her own country.
